Your Ally in Workplace Safety

Welcome to Ally Safety, where we believe in making safety better. I'm Rachel, the founder, and basically the person who runs this place. With a passion for safety and a mission to revolutionize safety training, I'm a Certified Safety Professional and Certified Industrial Hygienist with 11 years of experience in the field.

01

From Heavy Machinery to Safety Expertise

As a child, I grew up working in my dad's construction and logging business. Carrying heavy loads and operating heavy machinery taught me the value of hard work and appreciation for the efforts of others. In college, I explored different engineering disciplines but realized that my true calling lay in communication and instructional design rather than technical measurements.

02

Discovering a Passion for Safety

An opportunity to work as a laborer at a superfund site led me to discover the field of safety. When management needed a new Safety Manager, I stepped up, not realizing it would be the start of an incredible journey. I loved the blend of technical knowledge and people skills, particularly when it came to leading training sessions. So, I switched majors and graduated with a degree in Occupational Safety and Health.

03

Identifying a Common Problem

Throughout my career, I noticed a recurring issue in the safety realm. Safety professionals and managers were often overwhelmed with responsibilities, leaving little time to create engaging and impactful safety training. This lack of engaging training resulted in poor safety performance, accidents, and injuries, wasting valuable resources.

Pursuing the Dream of Awesome Safety Training

Your Ally in Workplace Safety

The response to the safety videos was overwhelming. People resonated with the idea of making safety training engaging and impactful. In less than two years, Ally Safety transformed from a small safety consulting business to a full-time endeavor focused solely on creating safety videos.

At Ally Safety, our goal is to challenge the conventions of traditional safety training. We believe in content that demonstrates rather than tells, explores rather than explains, and captivates rather than induces zoning out. Our videos are designed to capture attention and drive home the importance of safety in the workplace.
